A Study on the Qualtiy of Raw Materials used in Domestic Cosmetics

Abstract
|
|
|
The study was carried out to compare the quality of foreign made and domestic raw material used in cosmetics by means standard methods.
The results were as followsl;
1) Most of the raw material manufacturing factories have not established their own quality control systems and organization under the regulations fof material standardization.
2) Domestic cosmetic industries depends mainly on foreign countries because of the impurity and unsuitabillity of domestic raw materials.
3) It was found that most of the domestic raw materials were inconsistent with present standard of quality.
It is recommended that self quality control systems should be established before using raw materials in cosmetics.
